Overall Satisfaction with Google Classroom
In my organization we are always trying to improve and we also have a lot of new product releases and features. So, we need a way to constantly share updates and new training topics to all advisors so they can update their customer support service method as quickly as possible in accordance with the new updated rules and the new features. Google Classroom solves these issues for us effectively.
Pros
- For international companies it's very effective as the training doesn't need to be scheduled on a specific time. All the employees can complete the classroom and submit their work at their own time
- It centralizes the information, that guarantees that all the employees will receive the same information at the same time
- The reminders are sent automatically and it's easy to see who didn't complete the training, not opened it and who has already finished
Cons
- All the classrooms have an ending date, so the ongoing information (like general company rules) needs to be updated from time to time even if it's still the same information
- It's not possible to filter content for employee roles. The content will be the same for everyone
- Employees can only reach for the Teacher to help them, but it would be great to have a chatroom for the students to share their opinions and questions inside the Google Classroom
- Reduces the need of multiple scheduled trainings, that leads to a reduced headcount for training by at least 50% in my company
- It's a very low cost software that easily compensates for the reduction in separate training sessions
- It's mobile friendly and easy to access, improving manager's free time as the peers can always search for the classrooms when needed
Google Classroom has clearer due dates, they can see what’s due, what’s new, and what’s missing immediately after opening the Google Classroom, even in their mobile. That makes it more intuitive and simpler to use, especially for people that aren't tech savvy. It also can be linked to other Google features, like Calendar and Drive, that are also simpler than One Drive, for example.
