Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts

We use this software across the enterprise. It helps bridge communication needs for many people who do not work closely together or work even globally.

Pros

  • Ease of use. It's really intuitive and easy to use.
  • Brings people who work together closer.
  • Allows for colaboration on work and sharing of ideas.

Cons

  • Would like it to have an easier way to see how to add someone by phone if needed. I always forget how to do that.
  • I am not part of the business where I have the details on the ROI.
I've primarily used Google Hangouts and haven't recently used other ways for collaboration, so I can't really provide any comparisons.
Suited for medium sized project meetings, staff meetings, especially for people who are on the same staff but don't live in the same city or work remotely from home.

Not suited for large group meetings. Can get cumbersome.
