Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Hangouts Chat is used to communicate with my other colleague. We also use this to get some updates from our Boss. It is used by the whole organization. During the process-related problems, It is way easier to get some assistance through Google Hangouts Chat you can use it while on call and serves as a tool to communicate with other staff including different office locations.

Pros and Cons

Google Hangouts Chat allows you to send and receive messages real time with emoticons that can help you express your mood.
You can download and upload image file that can be use for business process and more.
Google Hangouts Chat also allows you to make a calls to reach other users.What I like the most is the awesome screen sharing while on call.

Google Hangouts Chat has a room for improvement in customizing the themes background.The themes are outdated and hard to change if you don't know the right key to change it.
It could be more user friendly if there will be no hidden features. Formatting messages is very likely to use and fun.
With conversations going on about everything all the time, it's easy to get pulled into far too many discussions but sometimes its hard to mention names because it shows many result even the users are not included on the chat room.

Return on Investment

Spontaneous Relationship with collegues for having a good communication. Using other features such as customizing chats are enjoyable and easy to express mood.
Smooth transactions for clients easy to collect business process related information.You can easily chat question on the chat room
Notification are sometimes distracting while doing your actual work. Conversation are non-stop and sometimes caught your interest to chat wth.

While you are calling cients and for you to save time utilizing knowledge base tool, It is way easier to directly message other user or announce it in a room I think Google Hangouts Chat is well suited. Sometimes it is less appropriate if the room is created for business process related but bombareded with unrelated topics.or sometimes they are depending on the chat answers and not not getting or learning something on the process.
