Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets

We use it every day across most departments/teams of our org. From simple day-to-day operations to complex dashboards for data processing. We use all Google tools daily. It solves a major problem for us: data gathering and analysis, while also making it easy to share results.

Pros

  • Data capture.
  • Ability to work with no code tools like Zapier.
  • Sharing the results / sheets between team members.

Cons

  • Maybe still too technical for novice users.
  • AI features are a bit too forced on to you it feels like.
  • Our ability to measure things we weren't able to before.
  • Cost efficient - free or almost free.
Because, for my own and as far as I know, my team's needs - it does everything. I have never heard anyone say, "I wish Google Sheets added X or Y".
I prefer it over both other similar products I used - Excel is too complex for my liking, and there's always something wrong with the formulas there (at least in my limited experience). Confluence isn't exactly 1-to-1 similar, but I used it before and didn't like it much.

Great in data capture, analysis, and sharing of results. Also, pretty good AI features since it's made by Google. Works really well connected to Slack. I find it loading slowly when there is a lot of data loaded in the sheet. The only thing I can think of - we are very satisfied with the tool overall.
