Internally, we use it to calculate things like profit, lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, and more. For our clients, we use it to keep track of their marketing analytics.

  • Collaboration with team members

Cons

  • The amount of data that you can keep in a Google Sheets file
  • More seamless integration with third parties
  • More seamless integration with Looker Studio
  • Google Sheets has helped us keep track of our marketing data and determine our marketing strategy, which is invaluable
  • We provide our clients with Google Sheets documents to help them keep track of their marketing analytics, which is essential to our product offering. 100% of our clients, receive our help through Google Sheets in some form more fashion.
  • Google has helped us keep track of our own financial data and tax data. Also invaluable to our business.
Google Sheets definitely deserves a 10 out of 10 in terms of usability mainly because of its collaboration elements. As with most of the Google suite of products, Google Sheets is incredibly easy to collaborate with teammates and clients on data, data sets, and analytics. Additionally, it’s easy to open a new webpage and load Google Sheets from any devices.
Google Sheets is the easiest to access to use, and is arguably the most powerful with its third-party integrations. Additionally, Google Apps Script enhances the ability of Google Sheets to process data in custom ways. For instance, integrating zap year to connect via Web hook to a variety of other data platforms is an essential function of our services and offerings. This is not really as easy with other options.

Google Sheets is incredibly well suited for scenarios where you need to run quick calculations, keep track of data, or start recording data for the future. For instance, if you need to calculate KPIs such as customer acquisition cost, you can easily input your marketing costs, your clients, and how much they make you, and get a quick output. It is less suitable for extremely large data sets and multiple data sets that need to interact with each other.
