Overall Satisfaction with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

As a one-person shop, I am the only user. I initially started using G Suite/Google Workspace when my email became unmanageable using Outlook. My website developer recommended moving to G Suite. It has simplified managing my email and has solved what had become a major problem for me, as I rely on my email, and of course, there isn't a day that goes by when I'm not using it.
  • Email management: This was the primary reason it was recommended to me. Makes a HUGE difference in how I manage my email. It also allows you to do things the free version won't.
  • Google Docs: I use these more now than I used to. It allows easy collaboration with clients.
  • Google Drive: I use this for not only docs but for sheets - which I'm using more of these days.
  • I think Google could provide more info on how to make the most of the product/app. I'm probably not doing everything I could with it to manage my business.
  • I use the very low-end version, so it works fine for what I need. I guess they could try to convince me to upgrade to the higher version, but I don't see them doing that.
  • I like the video component more than Zoom, so maybe they could market that a little more aggressively.
  • It's been a positive. Before Google Workspace, my mailbox was a behemoth. It was unmanageable. Anytime I switched to a new computer, it was a major undertaking to move my email box.
  • The email solved space issues. Because my site and email were hosted together, it was massive. I have a lot of emails. So switching to Google Workspace really helped solve this challenge.
  • It helps me be more productive, and email is vital to my business, so it's definitely had a positive impact.
My web developer recommended switching from Microsoft Outlook to Google Workspace. It was a good recommendation. Much easier to manage.

For email management, which is the primary way I use it, I really like it. Of course, it was hard to shift from what I was using, but once I got used to using G Suite for email, I really liked it. I use it all day every workday and have no real complaints.

I think if you're looking for more than that, you would either need to look at other tools or look at the higher-end version of the G Suite/Workspace.
