Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use the GoToMeeting platform to organize and manage online meetings with our customers so that everyone could connect and speak and see each other, as well as see each others screens when needed. It enabled us to connect with people very far away as if they were right in the same building with us.

GoTo Meeting could be better at participant management for muting and unmuting users when needed.
GoTo meeting could be better at scheduling reoccuring meetings.
GoTo Meeting could be better at integrating with users Outlook programs to more quickly schedule a meeting thru outlook.

Goto Meeting has helped reduce our need to travel to meet with customers, saving us money.
GoTo Meeting has a great app which allows you to take a meeting anywhere you have a signal which is a huge time and cost saving from having to commute to the office.
GoTo Meeting lets you pre-schedule online meetings so you can better plan out your day and not worry about having to share your screen at the last minute, which reduces meeting stress.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom and Google Meet

GoTo Meeting is the best option because each user doesnt need an account on it to use it and it doesn't require a subscription for each user, only the meeting organizer needs the subscription. Google Meet requires everyone to have a google account and Teams requires everyone to have a paid microsoft teams subscription so GoTo Meeting is the most pain free and cost effective solution.

GoTo Meeting is great for scheduled meeting between 2 to 10 users and allow them to speak and see each other, but if you have more than 10 users it can be a lot to manage a meeting and keep users muted who could be causing feedback, while also running the meeting, so it can be useful to have a platform like goto webinar for bigger meetings where you can mute all participants quickly and easily.
