Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
We are an SaaS company. Our software is B2B for the food service, PEI and HVAC industries. I use GTM to remote in to end user PCs to troubleshhot software and setup or IT issues. Sometimes we record for future reference. I use GTM because I can use the phone call feature to easily allow for conferencing during the meeting.
Pros
- It notifies and reminds users of meeting times
- The recordings seem to work well
- Connecting up to start the meeting is generally fast
Cons
- Audio - many of my customers cannot use PC audio because their microphones are not recognized
- When I send out a meeting invite from Outlook, the message includes a default link to Teams, so there is much confusion at the time the meeting starts. Most users end up in Teams while I wait in GTM
- The screen share options are quite confusing for my customers. They never know what to share or how to share
- I don't have any hard numbers as I am just a CSR and am not privvy to that information.
- It does help me to connect to my customers so that I can resolve their issues and keep them happy.
We only use GoToResolve for unattended access to certain customers. It is not used for remote meetings.

The ability to use phone calls instead of PC audio was my most important factor.
I would not change it at this point. I am used to GTM as I have been using it for years. In the future I might look at reliability, reviews and how many people use the software for remote meetings.
