Overall Satisfaction with GoToMyPC
GoToMyPC has worked great! Its easy to use and there have been no problems with connecting or using the program. I am able to continue working even though I have relocated out of state. This avoided having to find and train a new employee to be my replacement. Our operation did not miss a beat due to me leaving the office.
- Easy to connect
- Consistent connection
- No backing up files to transfer to be the office computer
- On occasion an email or a program document does not print at home.
- I save to hard drive at home and will have to log out of GoToMyPC to access the file on my external hard drive, email it, and the log back in. Not a big deal.
- No need to hire a full-time employee to be in the office when I can work remotely as needed.
- Allows for timely completion of projects.
Synology was difficult was difficult to log into and also find the correct files. I could access the files but any changes did not automatically save to the computer. There was no technical support to help understand how to use the program. We do not have an IT person in our organization so we basically did not count on Synology in the event we needed home access. We would have to go into the office to work on the computer.
