Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

For hosting a webinar or as an attendee, it doesn't seem to get easier than this. These are the folks that pioneered one of the best tools an organization such as ours could have.
GoToWebinar is used across our entire organization by administrative staff as well as our research teams. Being that we are an organization that provides non-biased environmental research data, this allows us to share real time screen information while communicating and brainstorming with other organizations as well as internally for remote workers.
  • Easy to join meetings for people who have never used the service.
  • Easy to set up webinars as the host.
  • I have never felt like this product lacked any features for the purposes I needed.

I currently still prefer GoToWebinar over others like Zoom. It has just been a staple of mine since GoToMeeting and I like how user friendly it is. I can run in from another meeting and take little effort to get my online webinar started or to attend an online webinar with GoToWebinar.
GoToWebinar is well suited for times when I have Post-Doc job applicants present their research work to a hiring committee for applicants out of state. It saves money on hotel and travel cost for two or three applicants in those scenarios.
As far as our researchers, they are able to be a part of educational or brainstorming sessions with colleagues that they would otherwise have to miss out on due to travel costs and time. It allows easy collaboration with universities and organizations anywhere. Sometimes you get your best information from others living in different environments in other states and countries. It helps us tap into that.
