Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

GoToWebinar breaks down the details and offers a simple platform that any user can easily access and interact with. It's convenient to communicate with attendees, share controls with others, and record webinar sessions. Very rarely are attendees having issues with GoToWebinar ( They tend to be having actual issues with phone or internet connectivity), there is very little time required to get a hang of the program.
GoToWebinar is used for conducting meetings across several offices for planning purposes. It's a convenient option for me to train my large team when often most of us are traveling and flexible for use on any platform as we can all access to our computers or phones. Options for recording allow accessibility when my entire team is unable to participate live.

  • Chat feature isn't the best at handling a large number of messages at once and can be overwhelming for the moderator.
  • Costliest option and competitors have less expensive alternatives with more features.

I like GoToWebinar but I feel like Zoom always has a seamless experience for me—less troubleshooting, more accessible functions for functionality like switching screens, recording, paring to monitors, etc.
In my case, GoToWebinar is solely used for training purposes or preparation calls in events. Often I find that my events need an 'on hands' approach when attendees get onsite and GoToWebinar seems to be more of a hassle to sign into than to just pick up a call.
