Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We used Gusto as our payroll processing service for the entire of 2020. We processed all of our payrolls in Gusto, plus tracked time off for employees.
  • Requesting and approving time off.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Payroll issues are always time-sensitive and cannot wait. With Gusto, it takes a minimum of 30 days to receive a response to the original inquiry. I had multiple issues with payroll that I had, in the end, to solve myself because Gusto does not respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Negative impact, since I had to spend time researching how to solve issues that came up. One example is that I had to file amended payroll tax returns myself.

Unless you will never have any issues with Payroll or need any help from a live person Gusto should not be used.
