Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I use Gusto for all my payroll services. They make the process easy and simple. I especially love their time tracking features. Gusto has been incredibly helpful in setting up and maintaining my company's payroll efforts. I love using it as the business owner, and more importantly my employees love it!

Pros

Cons

  • Checklist on all that's needed for state/federal compliance
  • Mobile app for owners
  • In-house workers comp insurance instead of using "NEXT"
  • It's priced well for the plan I have at about $25 per employee per month
It has a simple dashboard that is very easy to follow, and any time you have questions about where something is located on the dashboard you can easily contact a customer service representative. It is also really useful at showing upcoming deadlines for different compliance requirements in the home page.

It's generally well suited for companies looking to smoothly and easily onboard employees on a seasonal basis. They're also great at providing guidance on what the process of setting up payroll looks like for first-timers. Although I'd say that less appropriate scenarios would be related to larger companies with thousands of employees.
