Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Meetings (formerly UberConference)

We use Highfive for internal meetings. Half our team is in another country so this is essential for us to communicate with them, during all hands, individual contributor meetings, quarterly business reviews, etc. We use the screen share part of the application most often to share docs and present them to each other.
  • Easy to join.
  • Easy to share.
  • Connectivity issues.
  • Drops the call when connectivity goes instead of just pausing for a moment.
  • Great for collaboration across teams in different countries/offices.
  • Great for meeting recordings.
  • Zoom
We ultimately did not actually select Highfive. Zoom was more robust than Highfive was and we were already using Zoom for external meetings. We just decided to switch everything to the same licensing.

I liked using HighFive, but unfortunately, the market is really becoming saturated with Zoom. Many people know and have downloaded Zoom so sending a meeting through them is easier for everyone to connect. We used it internally for video calling and presenting, but for external calls, we used Zoom still.

Dialpad Meetings (formerly UberConference) Support

The support was relatively standard for Highfive. They have a chat bot option on their webpage, which is great to use for straight forward, easy answers to capabilities and where to find features. Should you have more of a deeper integration or bug issue, you can email support. Luckily I've never had to escalate my need for support beyond the chat bot option.
