Overall Satisfaction with HireVue

It is used across the whole organization. It helps speed up our hiring process.

Pros

  • Multiple Managers or decision makers can see the interviewee's answers anytime anywhere which is more convenient than the typical initial phone interview
  • Hiring process is sped up and its easier to find

Cons

  • It helps if Hirevue can recognize if the user's camera isn't working. There are time the sure doesn't even know or purposely make the video questions dark.
  • Easier way to easily see multiple recommendations for a user
  • faster hiring process

HireVue does recognize when a camera or microphone is not working, and does not allow the candidate to continue the interview until the issue is fixed. However, if something goes wrong with the camera or microphone during the interview, the candidate will see there is a problem. Usually camera and microphone problems are caused by connection issues or outdated operating systems. The easy fix would be to have a stable web connection and to do a few practice questions that we offer before starting the interview.
