Overall Satisfaction with HireVue

Company wider usage. In the department I am in we are a significant segment of the overall users. Its helps the screening and selection (quality of hire) by helping us vet candidates early in the process better. Also helps reduce travel time and costs.
  • Ease of use
  • Mobile Friendly w/ apps on android and IOS
  • SAAS based / web based
  • Slow speeds and usage across the platform (mobile or from your desk)
  • All video interviewing needs to be a function of the ATS (we must end having to spend time in so many systems as recruiters) INTEGRATE FULLY OR THE ATS COMMUNITY WILL WISE UP AND DO IT
  • The HV system is lackluster as the shared service environment grows and we see the constraints in data management. Many of the recruiters are really not liking the tool……( I can put ½ the recruiters on a call and let them vent if you don’t believe me)- it’s a daily battle which has an effect on usage / adoption). It's struggling to perform in a shared service environment all OUTSIDE of the ATS- slow, unorganized, and the mountain of data is unusable outside of success-factors. Not to mention other vendors in the space are cheaper and offer more functionality which could be a long term risk.
  • Customer service is good BUT then again the "Clients / Hiring Managers" dont have to "live in the tool like recruiters.
  • Improved innovation perception of hiring department (it is an innovative tool and most managers have never seen it before)
  • Negative impact is it helps and hurts at the same time. Hurts by adding one more layer / tool / training / system to learn etc.
We have looks at all current players on the market. Including CRM vendors getting into the video space too. My dream is that one day our ATS is the only tool I need because its all seen from that dashboard NOT by logging into to additional tools.
We use SAP (ATS), People Answers, Checkster, HireRight, HireVue, Yello, Rescolu, SharePoint (inhouse build for better metrics to tie this all to), and more. I need a spreadsheet just to track all my usernames and passwords.
The tool is better as an individual tool rather than an enterprise ecosystem in my view. Collaboration is anemic and won't work in the tool at an impactful level. It's better in my view for independent parties who don't have to work with other teams / people /time zones / systems.
