Overall Satisfaction with HireVue

We hire research assistant around the country from our corporate offices in California. HireVue eliminated the need to call people throughout the day to set up interview times.

Pros

  • The ability to customize the questions.
  • The ability to set time limits for reading the question.
  • The ability to skip through and review the entire interview, question by question.

Cons

  • The ability to sort candidates into different groups.
  • Increased productivity due to the reduction in multiple contact attempts.
  • Better than telephone interviews as you can see body language rather than just voice tone.
HireVue works well in a situation where in person interviews are impractical. It doesn't work well if it is determined that a follow up question [is necessary] based on the candidate's answer.

    Hi Christopher! Thanks for reviewing HireVue, we really appreciate it! The follow up question you mentioned is a great idea. I will send that over to my feature request team to see if we can get this implemented in the near future. I believe this would only work with written questions for now, but keep an eye out and you may see this feature available soon! You can sort candidates or search for candidates by adding tags to them. You can add a tag by clicking on the interview, then the "candidates" tab. There will be a blue tag that will have the title "tags". By clicking this, you can sort any candidates with specific tags you make. You can then click on a specific candidate, and add a tag to that candidate. Let me know if this helps! Thanks again for taking the time to review us.
