Overall Satisfaction with HotSchedules
We use Hostschedules primarily for scheduling and labor watching for a restaurant. Additionally, it is used to keep data, such as employee phone numbers, emails, alcohol and food seller certifications. Occasionally, it is used for mass emailing.
- Keeping track of certifications is quite simple. You are notified when a certification is nearing expiration.
- In conjunction with Aloha, it integrates data (labor, employee syncing) easily and quickly.
- It is user friendly for staff members to navigate, whether it be web or app based viewing.
- The most recent iteration for the scheduler on the manager's end seems a bit buggy, sometimes applying shifts to employees that I did not intend to give them.
- There used to be a legend for hotkeys that you could use when scheduling.(I.e. Copying shifts, setting shifts to house shifts, swapping shifts, etc)
