Overall Satisfaction with Human Interest

We use Human Interest for our retirement plan. It addresses the complex systems that were in place to run our retirement plan by creating a more streamlined and automated approach to retirement that works better for a mid-sized non-profit organization like ours.

Pros

  • Gives the control to employees to manage their retirement easily
  • Creates more automated approach for businesses to use
  • Friendly website

Cons

  • The automation while good is not fully built out
  • The communication when issues have occurred has not been clear
  • The help and support has not been as quick or clear when needed.
  • We haven't fully seen this yet since still early in implementation, but we believe it will take less time overall for us to maintain this benefit for our employees
  • Should create less administrative burden for filings and compliance paperwork.
It is a very easy to use system for our employees, friendly interface and a simple approach.

Rollover processes aren't as easy as they could be, so I see some room for improvement there.

If you need a more automated approach this is a good tool, but there needs to be more work to ensure it is fully automated across the system before signing on for this reason. We learned after implementation that the automation and integration with payroll wasn't fully built out yet. If you want to give employees more hands on control of their retirement this is a good system for that as well.
