Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storage FlashSystem

IBM Storage FlashSystem has a wide range of uses, being flexible depending on the type of disk modules allocated, and can be useful in different environments.
I am the administrator of the storage that we basically use to store backups on disk in order to have more agile save and recovery processes.

We use mechanical disks in the equipment, which naturally results in lower performance, but acceptable for the functions for which it was acquired.
The PURE solution has better performance because it exclusively uses flash disks, however it ends up providing a higher cost, which in our institution's use case was an important requirement;

The equipment has good usability for applications that do not require critical performance when using mechanical disks. For example, backup routines or batches.
