Overall Satisfaction with IBM Turbonomic

IBM Turbonomic is a tool that provides value across multiple aspects of our IT operations. It's AI integrated reduces manual intervention in adjusting resources, resulting in much less time wasted by IT department. Furthermore, we use it to analyzing workloads and resource consumption for planning purposes.

Pros

  • Optimizes the performance by allocation of resources.
  • Automated resources adjustment.
  • Increasing Productivity and efficiency

Cons

  • Honestly, the most important one is pricing. For Small Medium buisness like ours, pricing can be a issue.
  • Too many alerts.
  • User interface and navigation can be somewhat better.
  • Reduced manpower required for resource allocation by use of AI driven functionality.
  • Noticable increase in productivity as team can now work on other essential tasks.
  • Increased application performance by proactively monitoring and optimizing resources.
The AI driven automated resource allocation is functionality is the most important. Helps to reduce manpower required and results in saving a lot of valuable time.
The Automated Resource Allocation has been possible after switching.
I think IBM Turbonomic is much much better than Datadog. Both in terms of functionality and capabilities. AI driven resource allocation is the standout feature.

Really helpful for small medium buisness that do not have a lot of workforce in their IT department and want a tool that can use AI automated resource allocation that reduces manpower and time required. Yes, pricing is a bit of a concern but if you ignore price, it's one of the best out there.
