Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Resume

We use Indeed Resume for a sourcing database to find job seekers for our open positions. This is used in our centralized recruiting department and other site-level human resources managers right now to source candidates they want to connect with about their open positions. This is helping increase our applicant flow and convert more applicants to hire.

Pros

  • Clear easy page
  • Easy purchases
  • Simple search engine

Cons

  • Very costly
  • More available subscriptions
  • Contacts go very quickly when reaching out to job seekers
  • More hires
  • More spend on advertising budget
Indeed works better for the entry-level roles we are searching for, we find LinkedIn is for higher-level leadership roles. However, Indeed does have a wider variety in general, of all types of roles and skillsets. I've found more luck finding entry-level job seekers on Indeed and more luck finding HR professionals on Linkedin.

Overall it is the best product for quick searching and sourcing, but it is costly and prices continue to increase each budget year. We will continue to use it as it gives us the best conversion rate for finding candidates and hiring them over any other job page out there right now.
We love using Indeed Resume searches. It is easy, quick, and produces results in areas we are sourcing candidates for. It is challenging to find entry-level workers, but I do think that Indeed has a wide variety of job seekers looking for different jobs and different skill sets.
