Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Sponsored Jobs

We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to fill positions throughout our area of operation, which includes five states. We mostly hire security officers. Our industry tends to be an industry with traditionally high turnover. Indeed Sponsored Jobs has helped to stay ahead of the curve as much as possible. Although we still have a high turnover rate, our turnover is lower than the industry average, and our retention is higher than many of our competitors. Utilizing Indeed, and specifically, Indeed Sponsored Jobs, has played a role in those factors.

  • We use applicant tracking software, and the integration has improved, but it sometimes feels that there could be a disconnect when the applicant leaves Indeed Sponsored Jobs and goes to our software. Some of the issues involve our software. Again, this has greatly improved over the years, but increased integration and a more seamless flow are always desired.
  • Sometimes our ads get flagged and pulled from Indeed for apparently no reason. Sometimes it is because we did something that was prohibitive or not recommended, but at other times it's rather unexplainable. It's a pain when it goes on for days without us noticing it. Indeed is typically very responsive. Still, it hurts to lose traction, especially when it's for a very pressing hiring need.

Using Indeed Sponsored Jobs, we consistently hire for armed and unarmed security officer positions. We have successfully used Indeed Sponsored Jobs to hire security officers for federal contracting, which tends to require a minimum level of experience in certain related fields.
Our company performs a considerable amount of seasonal work in the Gulf Coast Region, especially along the beaches. We hire additional security officers to support events like Spring Break or to provide extra coverage during the summer holidays. Indeed Sponsored Jobs has helped us successfully recruit and hire seasonally year after year.
Indeed seems to offer ample support for Indeed Sponsored Jobs. I can email my reps, and I typically get assistance the same day. After-hours and weekend support seem to be lacking at times.
Indeed Sponsored Jobs gets the lion's share of our recruiting dollars simply because it is more effective than our competitors. It reaches more people faster, for less money.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs will typically boost responses to ads that are posted on Indeed. It also provides some tools to help screen those applicants, so that you get to the most qualified candidates first.

From our experience it works better for filling front line positions, and we haven't had as much success using Indeed Sponsored Jobs to fill managerial positions or positions that require higher skills or specified training and certification.
