Indeed - The Job Seeker Monopoly
Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Sponsored Jobs
In our industry, we have a constant turnover and are always hiring given the nature of the positions. I am on Indeed daily reviewing resumes and candidates that best fit our needs, it's easy to use and I have no complaints about the functionality of the system itself. Sometimes I struggle with "selling" our company culture and being attractive to applicants, so I'm hoping to improve that in due time.
Pros
- Functionality and Ease of Use.
- Email Notifications and Communication.
- Categorizing candidates as active or rejected helps me know what's new and old too.
Cons
- Actual email addresses would be ideal, I think sometimes they go to their spam folder.
- Possibly adding pre-fill templates for the entire job post, not just skills or educational background.
- Customizable layout for landing page.
- Applicant quality varies depending on the position, sometimes we get really good ones and bad ones so it's positive and negative at times.
- Positive impact with being cost effective. I don't feel we pay too much for what we need, but it's not "cheap" by any means either.
As I mentioned earlier, everyone knows what Indeed is so that's a huge plus. I don't tend to get the number of candidates coming in with either of the others I've used in the past. Almost a waste of money if I'm being honest, I'd rather post 3 or 4 similar positions on Indeed and see what I get than pay for other sources.
