Overall Satisfaction with InEight

InEight is used primarily as an Estimating tool to compile all quantities and costs required for projects or estimates. Allows multiple users to provide input into the estimate at the same time, is cloud based so can be accessed virtually anywhere, and provides a costing database that can be used in real time to compile estimated costs.

  • Having an on screen take-off module to be built in as part of the software

  • Aligns various Divisions to work on one platform

Well suited for heavy civil and mining type of projects or estimates. Not well suited at all for Vertical Buildings related type of projects. Rested to Buildings estimates, the software makes it difficult to create an estimate where multiple components are separated within the estimate, especially when the costing breakdown is required to reflect a standard CSI divisional format.
