Overall Satisfaction with InEight

We use InEight for developing customer cost estimates and feasibility studies for future projects and AFEs. Often these become budgets for project execution.

Pros

  • Quick and Efficient
  • Links with P6
  • User Friendly

Cons

  • Reporting isn't always the best.
  • I wish there was a way to tie parent level coding (or tagging) to the child item and to the resources within the terminal level.
  • InEight was always used for job costing and establishing a benchmark for project execution. Knowing the cost of the work set us up for success and to make a profit in project execution.
Job costing, project baselining and proper set up for proper project execution and management.
Estimate does exactly what it says it will do. It's an efficient way to establish project baselines for proper project managemetn and execution.
Support is always helpful and great to work with.
We've evaluated the project controls functions, but they aren't as functional as InEight Estimate

I previously worked as a contractor and it was fantastic for bidding and estimating work. It also works well for larger feasibility studies and estimates for owners.
