Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use it as our primary CRM. All account managers and service people use the program. Customer service does not.

  • Entering a deal is tedious
  • Entering a new contact also requires an entry for a new business or organization. This should work with one entry.
  • Reporting feature is hard to use
We have experienced improved efficiency, however, not where we would like to be. We are in a very fast paced sales and marketing environment. We represent multiple product lines to multiple customers and use Insightly to keep track of our deals and our CRM. It does not work well as a marketing tool nor does it work well as a task coordinator. We have done several trainings and our team constantly complains that this platform is difficult to use.

Comparing these two systems, I would have to say that Outlook within Microsoft 365 is easier to use and has more functionality than Insightly. Drag and drop features are easy to use and we find that in Insightly, there are too many windows to open and work in to achieve the same result as in Outlook.
Insightly is good for keeping your address book. It has many fields and can be easily updated between platforms. For deal tracking, (opportunity) we find it is just too timely to function well. A voice feature would he helpful.
