Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
We have integrated Insightly with QuickBooks to manage CRM. We are a small business and it is primarily used by me. It allows me to document any conversations with clients regarding service, AR, or sales. It is nice that we can see the information already entered in QuickBooks in the Insightly screen.
- Integration from QuickBooks into Insightly
- Quick entry of information
- Email templates are very handy
- Email templates do not save changes if the "to" field is changed after the copy is edited. Not realizing this, I have been burned on a few correspondences with clients. Why should it automatically revert back to the template? There should at least be a warning.
- Centralized contact management
I was previously putting notes about customer contact in QBO, which I still do if it is related to invoicing or billing questions. But now if there is a conversation or email about service changes, I can connect emails or take notes about a phone conversation and connect it to the organization so it can be found easily. One repository for client contact is key.
Infusionsoft's CRM module is rigid and non-intuitive. Insightly is far more robust and comprehensive in functionality.
