Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We were using this tool organization-wide and have used Insightly in a variety of different ways:
  • Track leads (from initial call to contract closing)
  • Able to understand and analyze our sales cycles.
  • Consolidation of documents and sales-enablement material (allow team members to easily access documentation on features, capabilities, partnerships, etc.).
  • Easily able to search for contacts information of vendors, partners, customers, etc.

Pros

  • Intuitive UI/UX. Very easy to navigate throughout the tool (short learning curve)
  • One-stop shop for all information pertaining to a specific customer or audience. Easily able to track status, look up notes/information, etc.
  • Variety of different integrations that we can connect with (i.e. Gmail)

Cons

  • Freemium features provide a wealth of capabilities and tools, however; some features you would think would be standard, you have to pay for.
  • Reports to analyze sales can be fairly hard to create. Out of the box reports provide are nice, but we need to buildour own reports to get the information we need (like any data tool)
  • Customer service could use some improvement
  • Increased Sales

Have achieved all three of these outcomes by using the Insightly tool:
1. Centralized contact management - a one-stop shop for all contacts (partners, customers, distributors, etc.). intuitive search to easily find contact information of a particular person.
2. Streamlined Business Processes - Because we have made Insightly our one-stop shop, it had become extremely easy for everyone our within our organization to access documents, enablement material, contract templates, etc. Ensures all teams or working quickly and efficiently.
Salesforce - Insightly has very similar functions to SFDC. However, the price differences are one of the most evident that differentiate the two. Another big differentiator is the support between the two application. SFDC has a very elaborate and sophisticated customer success team. SFDC also has a wealth of integrations/connectors that Insightly does not.
-Tracking sales cycles
-Searching for specific contact information (customers, vendors, partners, etc.)
-Reports to analyze sales and progress (how account directors progress over each quarter)
-Tracking marketing campaigns
