Overall Satisfaction with Intacct
Our firm uses Intacct as well as approximately five clients. Using Intacct allows ease of access to accounting info from various locations other than the office. The combined use with Bill.com has greatly reduced time requirements for payables, processing, and approval.
Pros
- Great ability to move from financial statement balances to general ledger and individual transaction detail.
- Ability to customize user permissions.
- The multi entity environment is excellent for franchise & franchisee information reporting.
Cons
- Customizing reports is very cumbersome and cryptic.
- Pricing is very hard to understand.
- Better support response and ability to reach support person you have worked with in the past.
- Increased employee and accounting staff efficiency.
- Great for collaboration with accountant and tax preparer.
- Able to service clients more timely with up to date information.
- QuickBooks Online,Xero
Intacct is much more complex for training and use than Xero. QuickBooks provides much more varied reporting ability from a standard reports point of view. Intacct has them all beat when it comes to multiple entity reporting and consolidation. The multi entity environment Intacct provides beats the competition for that function hands down.
- Fewer than 25% of my clients
