Overall Satisfaction with Intacct
Our organization considered many accounting solutions, both on premises and cloud, and settled on Intacct because of the health and strength of the company; the product's dimensional and reporting flexibility and capabilities; and overall product features and the positive end user experience it provides.
- The concept of GL Dimensions gives you reporting flexibility without having to manage an overly complex GL Account structure.
- Intacct releases on a quarterly basis new product features and enhancements seamlessly. There is great focus on quality control, allowing the end user to take advantage of enhancements in a timely fashion without the headache of upgrades and the technological challenges that go with it.
- Dashboards in Intacct are very easy to create and manage, and you are able to take advantage of them as soon as you have data in the system. Dashboards come standard and are part of the core modules.
- Intacct has not focused much on improving the inventory module. Inventory is handled well if you have basic needs, but do your diligence if you have more complex requirements.
- Increased employee efficiency
- Better customer service
Dynamics SL has a good Project Accounting module, but it is very antiquated; some businesses need those features: I have seen some companies use very old solutions, and they are married to them because they have been highly customized and do one thing that they must have really well. I'm glad I'm not in that position.
