Overall Satisfaction with Intercom

Intercom is a Customer Support Solution that seems to do a great job for support. One unique thing about Intercom is that it also has some built in AI that can be leveraged for increase efficiency! The Intercom product team is also very open to feedback and chases after improvement with a passion!

  • Product package offerings, sometimes they will only sell you a yearly subscription for some stuff.
  • Response times are good but not great for their support.
  • They could allow for more customization for their interfaces.

It is intuitive, but some very useful features seem to be slightly hard to find or in some cases even hidden. For example, to find some of the customized options, you have to dig so deep that you end up searching the internet to figure out how to access certain features.

Intercom is well suited when you need a platform for your support team to serve clients well! Everyone needs some support from time to time, and Intercom makes supporting your customers easy! I would say in cases where you want a product that is completely flexible, I would probably not recommend Intercom, because there are some limits to product flexibility in some scenarios.
