Overall Satisfaction with Intercom

Intercom is our membrane to our prospective customers and current customers. We use them for knowledge guides, onboarding, outreach, and newsletters. But the most valuable aspect is our real-time ability to solve their questions and concerns from any device with speed and accuracy.
Juggling different needs and visitor types requires a lot of handy data and UX that they have executed with deep thought. Also their Fin bot is improving to the point of confidently using them for 1st-phase questions from visitors.

Pros

  • user data targeting + CRM
  • ai bot support
  • customer support

Cons

  • improved flexibility with plans ( add more pro features to my plan )
  • user flow data ( where are my users in the app )
  • user attribution ( which of these users came from which ads )
  • directly helps conversions
  • directly helps reduce churn
  • directly helps product market fit
its well done. i dont need to think about it
its great with ProfitWell and Stripe

It's not great for user dunning/recovery or engagement based on specific usage.

Its not great for mass mailing because it is 10x overpriced.
