Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

I use Freehand for a variety of use cases below in order to solve business problems such as creating early alignment between UX/Product/Stakeholders through the use of visual illustration, I use it to map out the customer journey and service design to help clarify the nuances happening in the experience that can't be seen and I also use it for brainstorming and project planning sessions with my team. Wireframes/Mockups of Product Designs Service design and logic mapping User journey mapping Project planning Team meetings
  • New anchored arrows are critical for user flows
  • New wireframe templates and components
  • Collaboration in real time
  • The homepage can be pretty overwhelming especially for stakeholders due to the sheer number of documents but it looks like you are trying to resolve this with the introduction of Spaces and those features which I love so far!
  • Real time collaboration
  • Wireframing
  • User journeys/user flows
  • InVision as a whole has had a tremendous impact on our organization in order to spin up a new UX team, grow it, educate stakeholders, and build a more user-centered culture.
I really do like Miro and its features a lot but the fact that it doesn't integrate or live with the rest of our UX deliverables makes it challenging to use.

Do you think Freehand by InVision delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Freehand by InVision's feature set?

Yes

Did Freehand by InVision live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Freehand by InVision go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Freehand by InVision again?

Yes

I typically recommend the entire InVision suite to other teams that ask for recommendations or when spinning up a new UX Team because it's an all in one solution when paired with Sketch for UX teams to create wireframes and mockups, user flows, etc. in Freehand; build pixel-perfect prototypes in Sketch; push those up to InVision and then use the commenting features to get approval or answer questions from stakeholders.
