Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

I use Freehand for a variety of things. I use it as a hot sheet to present in our morning scrums, we also use it for research, or even for virtual client workshops. We like to present our work or findings via freehand as it's easy to navigate. I have essentially started using Freehand instead of Miro.
  • The UX and UI are very intuitive.
  • It's easy to build out a "board".
  • They have great templates to use for a variety of work.
  • I think their marketing could be better, I didn't know of Freehand until I was told by someone who used it previously.
  • They should point out the major uses of Freehand right on the dashboard.
  • For companies that have an account, they should send out reminder emails since most didn't know we had it.

  • Makes collabs easier.
  • Some people still use Miro here instead of Freehand.
  • Helps keep everyone on the same page.
Miro is the main competitor I have used. It is extremely similar to Freehand but I like Freehand more because we do a lot of our prototyping and design in InVision so it is more of a one-stop shop for me. I also enjoy the different types of templates in Freehand, a few of them are super helpful.

As a PM collaboration is very important and Freehand makes it very easy to work with a team. Anything from reviewing UX screens, concept designs, or even storyboards to something as simple as a hot sheet for scum. Freehand makes it easy to do it all. I also really like the client collaboration when used during workshops.
