My company uses ion interactive for managing landing pages and lead conversions. Our marketing department.
- The Ion dashboard makes split A/B testing of landing pages a breeze. Ion will also monitor performance and automatically turn off the landing page that is not performing as well as the other.
- The dashboard reporting is wonderful. You can also export raw data on all traffic records, not only the converted records.
- There are plenty of templates you can use to easily customize and launch quickly.
- Although you can set up an automatic email for any reports that you create, I wish there was a way of pulling traffic data through an API.
- Ion forms can be more flexible as far as select inputs. I'm unable to easily create validation for select inputs. Currently, there isn't an easy way to throw a js error when a certain value is selected in an Ion select input,
- I wish there was an automated way of removing spam traffic. Currently, we have to many remove spam traffic every time we want to analyze performance within our landing pages.
- Ion has helped us better track the performance of our landing pages leading to an increased number of leads and better cost per lead.
Unbounce is more of a single-page landing page. All of our landing pages contain subpages and we are able to organize our creatives within Ion better than we would in Unbounce. Ion also allows you to upload custom templates in addition to the Ion pre-made templates. Unbounce's templates have a desktop and mobile versions but not tablets.
