Overall Satisfaction with isolved

We use isolved for payroll, time and attendance features, and HR storrage.

Pros

  • isolved makes payroll easy.
  • isolved allows me to schedule employees days, weeks, and months in advance based on availability.
  • isolved stores documents indefinitely.

Cons

  • isolved made changes to their colors which has made navigation difficult as there is little contrast within menu items.
  • The isolved People Cloud app does not offer the same features as the core view for employees.
  • Employees find the scheduler function on the app hard to read and use.
  • We spend far less time entering payroll since the timekeeping system allows the employees to clock their hours.
  • There have been fewer errors since both employees and supervisors approve timecards. Multiple eyes allow for potential mistakes to be caught sooner.
isolved excels in communicating early on. As issues arise and need escalation, isolved is somewhat slower at communicating potential resolutions.
We love the HRIS portion of isolved. We track employee trainings, certifications, and expiration of certifications. isolved University helps to ease the burden of course creation and documentation. It provides relevant courses and reporting features which automatically import into the employees' profiles in isolved.

Given my industry, HR and payroll, isolved is great. My employees' availability don't change often, so I don't need to regularly change the schedule. For other industries, (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.), isolved might prove difficult as scheduling needs differ.
