Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

Jabber is being used across multiple brands including Princess Cruises and Holland America Cruise Lines, where we make up the Holland Group. Jabber is being used across the entire organization with Princess Cruises and in certain departments for Holland America. It addresses what was once a major issue of leadership managing staff remotely through collaboration.
  • Jabber allows for collaboration really well.
  • Screen sharing and end user control.
  • Video call functionality, voice and chat.
  • Ability to send attachments via the application.
  • Ability to add multiple line appearances.
  • Better customer service.
  • Better support and ease of ability to contact and communicate with remote users.
  • Lync
Jabber is so much more stable than Lync. Application is built to suffice the needs of an Enterprise contact center and provides stability. Lync has been known from an application perspective to drop calls.
Jabber is well suited in all areas for collaboration. It is also well suited for: always displaying presence, screen sharing and desktop control. It would be nice if you could do end user control while on a call. Currently [you] have to share screen and start desktop control prior to making a video call.
