Overall Satisfaction with Jira Software

Jira software is being used to manage all sprint activities and tasks. Different issues are created and all team members can add their sub-tasks there. It also works perfectly for defect tracking.

Pros

  • Sprint board
  • Defect board
  • Crate tasks, sub-tasks, spikes and epics.
  • Record documents

Cons

  • Better linking within stories and tasks.
  • Less mandatory fields shouldn't be there.
  • Too many views.
  • Excellent value for money.
  • Saves time and resources when sharing the documents and information.
GitHub has fewer features when compared to Jira. It only works as a defect board. Jira can be utilized for all project management.
Always received support for any encountered issues and the community, in particular, is very helpful.

Well suited to manage sprints within agile projects. Works well for defect logging and tracking. Less suited for user-friendly views and can be improved for users without access to the admin level.
