Overall Satisfaction with Jotform

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Application for a Doggy Daycare. It's one of my web design agency's clients. It's enabled them to modernize their application process. Previously, they asked their applicants to download PDFs, which is not ideal.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Answer survey questions
Provide notifcations when an application is completed
Store submitted applications

Cons

The whole drag and drop thing is time consuming
The fields don't populate in the right places
I have to upload a new pdf anytime edits need to be made

Return on Investment

Negative - time consuming to make changes
Positive - makes a client of mine happy
Working out well for another client

All the time I've spent editing this one particular form.

It's well suited for surveys and simple applications. If the application is complex, then it can be cumbersome to create an application through Jotform.

Regarding your comment about the drag-and-drop feature, you can simply click on the element and it will automatically be added to the form. About the issue with the fields not populating in the right places, when we tested a form, we were unable to replicate the issue. We suggest reaching out to us with more details, as your feedback will help us better understand the situation and work on a solution. As for uploading a new PDF when edits are needed, if you're referring to editing the original PDF on the Smart PDF Form, you'll need to edit the original PDF document using a third-party app like Adobe Acrobat, and then re-upload the edited PDF document following our guide at https://www.jotform.com/help/873-how-to-update-the-pdf-through-smart-pdf-forms/.
