Stay on Track with JumpTrack
Overall Satisfaction with JumpTrack
The product allows dispatchers a way to easily trace the route of our printer delivery team for drop off deliveries. Dispatch can easily see which stops have already been made without calling and speaking with our install technicians or delivery drivers dropping off supplies to offices. This also allows dispatch to call customers and inform them if the drop off will be late. Used for all of our deliveries currently.
Pros
- Let's us know if a technician will be late to their next destination
- Allows us to easily store proof of delivery into already existing systems like Excel Spreadsheets.
- Allows dispatch to see the route for drivers so they can advise them if a better route is available.
Cons
- The interface is a bit dated looking.
- Accessing on mobile with only one free hand should be easier for delivery drivers to input information.
- A few bugs were still left in the production version of the software. These need to be ironed out with the next update.
- Drivers can be informed when a route is cut off so they can avoid traffic.
- POD has allowed us to prove to customers that products were delivered undamaged and damage to the box happened after our delivery.
- Dispatch can update customers in real time when drivers will arrive now without speaking with the driver which may distract our delivery guys.
JumpTrack is made by the same company so we try and integrate them as much as possible. JumpTrack allows you to be more granular with orders and gives more insight on driver productivity. It is honestly best to use both of them together since they work well together and come from the same business ecosystem. We weren't using a product before to track POD and instead relied on UPS to provide proof the products were delivered.
