Overall Satisfaction with KeePass
Well KeePass is used for maintaining passwords stored securely in one place. We use it for keeping in mind password used sometimes, for example for partners internet sites or account that needs an authentication "not for all". We share the login in the app password in the technical department, In a business phone hidden in the office, only a few people know it and we sync 2 or 3 times a year the application on a tech laptop. With this method, all the technicians can have all the passwords needed to work also when the colleague is out.
Pros
- Remember passwords
- Keep encrypted some informations
- Sync in all the devices
Cons
- The interface is not very appealing
- It will be useful a web interface
- The mobile app is not so easy to understand
- Is not an application for all, I had to explain with accuracy to some customers
- Share informations with selected people
- Share logins and passwords with the it dept
- Keep informations everywhere when you are at home, in office or Ina customer office
- KeePass is free so you can share it whit all
- Is quick to use, you don't have to activate VPN or access the web to obtain a password or a quick guide
- Is not super easy to use, you need to be a little patient to have all configured fine
KeePass is free and compatible with all the devices you or your customers and it has a lot of different uses. Is not only a password manager like Norton safe password or the avast's one. Like the password managers of the browsers, no, with KeePass every customer can find a useful way to share and keep secure I formations
