Overall Satisfaction with Keepit
We subscribed to Keepit in order to backup our Microsoft tenant, and restore deleted data as we already faced situation when data couldn't be recovered after the 90 days of delay on Microsoft side.
We also took benefit from Entra ID / Intune backup from Keepit to save some important configuration and policies.

Pros

Cons
- SSO Setup is a mess, and case sensitive which is outrageous for 2026
- Mostly still accessing important data when a user left the company
We're able to keep sensitive data that may be lost during a user deletion, and also to delete with more confidence as we have a reliable backup solution now. This is also relevant on Entra ID when we modify from day to day policies, which sometimes can led to incident. We Keepit solution we are able to backup and restore them as well.
From ground up we made our selection on a tool which is easy to use for support team and top administrators. Which led to easy actions and quick identification of section on the admin interface. Also less errors due to the clarity of it. The RTBF (right to be forgotten) feature is also really simple and easy to use.
Keepit appeared to be less messy in the admin interface compared to AvePoint, and also more easy to setup. AvePoint went too much in sub-menus as Keepit has a more simple approach which led to quicker actions and setup. Also Keepit is based in EU which is a big point for GDPR and data transfer topics.
