Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

KnowBe4 came to us when other entities in the area were getting hit with ransomware, and we just happened to be looking at ways of mitigating our security risks. We had originally just been compiling some free data of the way on ways to protect our users but this was just not enough. As an analyst, I was tasked with checking into their history and what they had to offer. I was unsure at first but after going through the demo with some of our less technical users I found that KnowBe4 has their system perfected.

Pros

Cons

  • System updates sometimes disables users
  • Fluidity of some videos seem to have issues on some computers
  • Faster response time for major issues
  • Saving us all time fixing user computers
  • Saving network team lots of time diagnosing issues
  • Less strain on all departments as a result of training
Support is generally fantastic. When we do need them on a minor issue or questions we usually get responses right away with no delay. Maybe because they dont have to escalate the issue. We have seen however when major issues come about that we can sometimes wait a bit longer for a resolution of even a initial response.

Usability in general and over all is great. There are occasional hiccups when it comes to some users machines accessing or streaming videos. We have seen fluidity problems on older PC's possible due to the streaming codecs used. But in general its not a huge issue. Because of that we'd recommend all your users have at least fairly new machines.
The impact of having the latest and greatest info into what security issues to look out for is huge. If you're training materials are out dated or not current, your users will not be able to identify whats coming to them right now. Thats a major issue in some training products, but not for Knowbe4.
I am very likely to recommend knowbe4 to colleagues and friends. Also we get a lot of inquiries from other local government agencies about our cyber security tools. Since this one helps the users stop security issues before they get onto the network, I am quick to suggest this first as an first line of defense before getting into network security products.
