Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We use KB4 across our offices in Canada, Australia, South America, and Europe (making full use of the multi-lingual functions as we support English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese).
The testing helps us to overcome the assumed trust most users have on inward bound content (they think - that's IT's job to protect us - not my job!). KB4 testing trains the users to employ a healthy dose of scepticism when looking at digital content either via email or on the Web.
We also provide face to face group training (pre-covid) on what it means to be a Human Firewall and how that knowledge can protect not only our employer's networks but also can be used to ensure you don't get scammed at home (we actively encourage our staff to train their family members, especially their children and older relatives).
We have avoided the negative implications of potential scams impacting our business by utilizing the KB4 platform for training - the simulated Phish emails really do closely mirror real phish scams - which means when the real one does happen the users will spot it.

- Reporting - not good at all - always have to manually handle via Excel to get what we want.
- Protection of the Company IP - users now understand this is everyone's job!

Keeps it fresh - one of the biggest issues with any training is if it becomes identical to the last one taken then people stop paying attention after a minute or two. The constant refreshing of the content and training avoids this critical barrier to accumulating and then utilizing the knowledge gained by testing and training.
We utilize Active Directory, and automated induction groups based on some rules the platform allows us to define. There is some manual handling occasionally as some users just don't drop into the right groups - but this is an outlier - most of the time it works perfectly!
The post-Phish test results - really useful to see the trends - and when you factor in you are able to review each email sent and see patterns, that's very useful for the management to see i.e. One of the issues we saw was users trusting anything from HR or IT - addresses we never use - so we highlight to staff this simple fact afterward and eventually that issue is resolved (emails only ever from a named person in HR and IT - never generic and unsigned - issue resolved quickly). Prior to testing, we did not realize users never noticed that all emails from HR and IT were signed and from an individual - big win!
