Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

Kofax Power PDF satisfies all my PDF needs. I was introduced to this software on a consulting project. Previously, the person I was working with used Adobe Standard. There were basic functions they couldn’t perform, like combining or converting PDFs, without upgrading at cost or jumping through hoops. Kofax Power PDF was presented as an alternative and they haven’t looked back since. In addition, I’ve pushed for others who experience the same issues to convert as well.

Pros

  • Read PDFs, the most important function
  • Delete pages from a PDF
  • Combine PDFs
  • Edit a PDF
  • Convert PDFs to images, word documents, etc.

Cons

  • Accessibility comes to mind, but that’s in part due to being so used to Adobe. I never even considered switching prior to learning more about the program and it took some getting used to. Other than that, no issues.
  • Cost savings
  • Time savings
  • Increased efficiency
  • Less waste
It took some getting used to thanks to decades of using Adobe. But I’ve found it’s very easy to use. Ease of use is a big deal to me. If I have to think hard about navigating a program that is designed for daily use, it’s not worth it. I’ve found Kofax Power PDF to be worth it!
Kofax Power PDF was the cheaper option with the functions I and others I’ve worked with needed. Most people don’t need to do many of the things offered by the more expensive and advanced version of Adobe. Kofax Power PDF has been a great fit.
I actually have never needed support. No issues have come up for me.

Yes

The ability to convert PDFs to other formats, combine PDFs, delete pages from PDFs, and edit PDFs are Kofax’s most powerful features for me.
Kofax Power PDF is very well suited for standard, repeatable functions that most people use it for. One big distinctive competence is the cost. I’m addition, I haven’t run into a scenario where the use of Kofax Power PDF is not appropriate. It’s been great!
