Overall Satisfaction with Kronos Workforce Ready
Our entire workforce uses Kronos. We use it as our timekeeping as well as our HRIS/communication system. The HR Department uses it for payroll processing, benefits tracking, onboarding new employees, and recruitment management. It saves us money and time. We love the onboarding process. It saves time and paper. The payroll process is easy to follow and complete accurately.
Pros
- The onboarding process is excellent. It helps us reduce paper.
- The recruitment management capabilities are excellent. It helps is manage candidates.
- The payroll processing is easy to use. It has a very logical process to follow to process payroll.
Cons
- Adjustments for OT hours worked when the employee has PTO time has to be done manually.
- Part-time Employee PTO accrual has to be adjusted manually.
- The reporting features are quite challenging.
- I wish there was a better on-line tutorial for how to work the system. I am a new user and I spend a lot of time figuring things out on my own.
- I wish it would notify employees that they already clocked in or out. That would eliminate some payroll challenges.
- I'm still new to Kronos, so I can't really speak about these things.
I've never worked with a dedicated HRIS system before, so I can't really rate it against others. I come from a medical office background and we always just used our Patient Management system that had a small HR feature. I like having it as a stand-alone HRIS system and not have to use another system that has been adapted for HR.
