Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready)

We use it across our organization for employee records, payroll assistance, time keeping, performance management.
It is great for keeping electronic information on employees.
  • Employee information. It is very helpful to be able to pull up one screen and see all the demographics. Also very easy to report on.
  • Time keeping. Access is great from employees to managers to HR. We can edit if someone needs to change time and push it through for them. Although we don't like to do this, I like to have the option. Very easy to see historical time as well.
  • Performance management. The tools set up is great even though we had some hiccups. I like the fact that we can build the tool to what our organization needs and have a few different ones for different populations. We did not use the merit increase tool as this was our first time doing online performance management but I'd like to use that feature this year.
  • Historical records. I appreciate when an employee leaves our organization that all the information remains for me to see, it doesn't just wipe them out of our system and make it more difficult to find. It's the same as pulling up an active employee which is easy.
  • Yearly training. I like that we can track when an employee took New Hire Training or other training that we offer. I think there is a better way for us to utilize this but we just haven't gotten around to it. Ideally, I'd love that when someone is a year old, that particular employee gets an automatic email. I haven't even looked into it, but perhaps that feature is already there.
  • Room notes - something better than we have today. More of a list, with dates, etc.
  • Room for LOA notes, again, list sorted by dates so you can follow someone's leave.
  • Termination screens should in there in the employee record, shouldn't have to do a different search for it.
  • Able to easily run reports for management when they need detail.
  • Hard to follow someone's leave without going into my email to find emailed notes.
  • Sometimes get different answers from the Kronos employees.
Indeed is better as an overall job finder, that's what they do so it's expected.
Some managers do not use it. The new UI rollout and the new "New Look" has caused major confusion. Our managers are not really educated on how to use Kronos and all its benefits. Most only use it for time tracking.
Well, our first Performance Management Cycle 2019 wasn't great. We had many hangups with this. Reviews getting stuck, instructions too confusing, etc. I would give that a 3.

The employee data is great, being able to find info on an employee. Rating 8.

Keeping notes on a particular employee in a list fashion is what I would love to see. Rating 2.
I love the abundance of training Kronos offers. You can sign up any time and even watch at your convenience. It's a great feature.

I wish it had more features where you can add notes and follow someones performance history or employee actions. There are only small boxes. I wish it had the ability to list notes by dates (under LOA for example.)

Kronos has a good response rate when reaching out. I love the live chat. It is quick and easy rather than going through the trouble of putting in a whole ticket.
