Overall Satisfaction with Kumulos

The Kumulos platform is used extensively across the company, both by internal users and also [by] extending the use of the platform to our customers. The platform lets you build rich media campaigns across mobile apps and websites, to run highly personalized campaigns to drive user interactions and return visits. It also helps with user acquisition.

  • Would like to see more channels, not just push and in app, SMS for example
  • Security - single sign on, password management, 2FA
  • Deferred Deep Links including web to app banners (love those)
  • Messaging - push notifications and in app messaging - rich media
  • Templates - save us a lot of time and hassle

  • Cost of the system is very low compared to tangible financial benefits it as delivered
Kumulos is just much easier to install, configure, and set up. Ongoing running costs are much much lower, especially because we don't need the constant support of a developer to complete day-to-day tasks. Other systems required a lot of technical support, not just in the setup but also in the ongoing operation.

[The] platform fits great with distributed teams. It has some really great features around workflow approval, where you can set authors and approvers for work and then track and audit trail the approval. It's a great fit for anyone looking for an enterprise solution to deliver automated personalization at scale. I think it's less well suited to small start-ups. The platform is easy to use, but there's a lot in it, some of which won't be that attractive to a simple app that's just starting out.
