Lifesize Video Conferencing Bringing Our Group Together

The expansion of our practice and permanent location of physicians outside of our primary location prompted the group to look for a video conferencing solution. The goal was to better engage remote physicians and make them feel like a full partner in the practice during group and committee meetings. The system would also have to be simple to set up and use. After researching many solutions we chose Lifesize Cloud with Icon cameras and phones.

For the main location we use an Icon 600 as we usually have ~35 attendees. For the remote locations we use Icon 300s installed on a mobile conferencing cart and a 42" display. The solution works great and is meeting all the goals. The Icon 300s on a cart are mobile and easy for the doctors to set up and use. The Icon 600 is the right choice for the main location. I appreciate using the Lifesize web site to schedule and organize meetings. What's most impressive is the video performance the Icons demonstrate just using them over the Internet. This is a good solution at a competitive price.
